WRW Engineering – 2025 Sustainability Annual Statement

Commitment to Science-Based Targets

In 2025, WRW Engineering strengthened its commitment to climate action by aligning its emissions reduction strategy with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Our near-term target is to reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 58.8% by 2034, using FY2024-25 as the baseline year.

2025 Emissions Inventory

For the 2024-2025 Financial Year, WRW Engineering has conducted an emissions inventory covering all operations under its control. Our emissions inventory includes:
• Scope 1: 15,538 kgCO₂e (mobile and stationary combustion)
• Scope 2: 33,851 kgCO₂e (purchased electricity)
• Scope 3: 860,807 kgCO₂e (value chain emissions)

Key Actions in 2025

To accelerate progress toward our 2034 target, WRW Engineering plans to implement the following measures in 2025:
• Transition to 100% Renewable Electricity: We have recently switched to a renewable electricity tariff backed by Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs).
• Facility Efficiency Upgrades: LED lighting will be installed at our production facility, contributing to a reduction in building energy use.

Progress and Outlook

These 2025 initiatives will make significant progress toward our 2034 Scope 1 and 2 reduction target. However, we remain committed to continuous improvement and transparency. We will continue to:
• Report GHG emissions annually
• Monitor and verify reductions
• Reassess targets in response to operational changes

Looking Ahead

In 2026 and beyond, WRW Engineering will explore on-site solar generation, evaluating low-emission vehicle options, and further building and process efficiencies. We are also reviewing Scope 3 emissions, particularly in purchased goods and logistics, to identify future emission reduction opportunities.

Conclusion

WRW Engineering is committed to supporting sustainable goals, demonstrating that ambitious climate action is both achievable and essential in the engineering sector. Our 2025 actions reflect our dedication to a low-carbon future and our responsibility to our stakeholders and the planet.
